Phuket’s seasons are the dry season and the wet season. Call it whatever you like, for example the dry season is also called “high season”, “sunny season” and “tourist season”, and for the wet season, we use the names “green season”, “rainy season” or “monsoon season”.

Recently there seems to be a shift in seasons, as the dry season often starts later, even as late as January or February. On the other hand, wet seasons often have long, dry periods to offer, with great weather and calm seas. It’s harder to predict as in the past, less reliable. I other words, climate change has arrived here in Phuket as well. It has been quite good as often the dry season was too dry and the wet season too wet, now it is more equalized.

The weather forecast over here is chronically wrong and always shows a certain probability of rain. But these are usually just short showers, quite refreshing and over quickly. As the weather can change within minutes, it is simply impossible to predict what time the daily rain shower might arrive. Here is the actual Phuket Weather:[/az_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][az_single_image image=”1200″ image_mode=”img-full-responsive” image_alignment=”aligncenter”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_raw_html]JTNDZGl2JTIwaWQlM0QlMjJ3d18xYzc3MmQwOTRiNTZjJTIyJTIwdiUzRCUyNzEuMjAlMjclMjBsb2MlM0QlMjdpZCUyNyUyMGElM0QlMjclN0IlMjJ0JTIyJTNBJTIycmVzcG9uc2l2ZSUyMiUyQyUyMmxhbmclMjIlM0ElMjJlbiUyMiUyQyUyMmlkcyUyMiUzQSU1QiUyMndsMTc0NiUyMiU1RCUyQyUyMmNsX2JrZyUyMiUzQSUyMiUyMzY4OUYzOCUyMiUyQyUyMmNsX2ZvbnQlMjIlM0ElMjIlMjNGRkZGRkYlMjIlMkMlMjJjbF9jbG91ZCUyMiUzQSUyMiUyM0ZGRkZGRiUyMiUyQyUyMmNsX3BlcnNwJTIyJTNBJTIyJTIzRkZGRkZGJTIyJTJDJTIyY2xfc3VuJTIyJTNBJTIyJTIzRkZDMTA3JTIyJTJDJTIyY2xfbW9vbiUyMiUzQSUyMiUyM0ZGQzEwNyUyMiUyQyUyMmNsX3RodW5kJTIyJTNBJTIyJTIzRkY1NzIyJTIyJTJDJTIyc2xfdG9mJTIyJTNBJTIyNyUyMiUyQyUyMnNsX3NvdCUyMiUzQSUyMmNlbHNpdXMlMjIlMkMlMjJzbF9pY3MlMjIlM0ElMjJvbmVfYSUyMiUyQyUyMmZvbnQlMjIlM0ElMjJBcmlhbCUyMiUyQyUyMmNsX29kZCUyMiUzQSUyMiUyMzAwMDAwMDBhJTIyJTdEJTI3JTNFJTNDYSUyMGhyZWYlM0QlMjJodHRwcyUzQSUyRiUyRndlYXRoZXJ3aWRnZXQub3JnJTJGJTIyJTIwaWQlM0QlMjJ3d18xYzc3MmQwOTRiNTZjX3UlMjIlMjB0YXJnZXQlM0QlMjJfYmxhbmslMjIlM0VXZWF0aGVyJTIwd2lkZ2V0JTIwaHRtbCUyMGZvciUyMHdlYnNpdGUlMjBieSUyMFdlYXRoZXJ3aWRnZXQub3JnJTNDJTJGYSUzRSUzQyUyRmRpdiUzRSUzQ3NjcmlwdCUyMGFzeW5jJTIwc3JjJTNEJTIyaHR0cHMlM0ElMkYlMkZzcnYyLndlYXRoZXJ3aWRnZXQub3JnJTJGanMlMkYlM0ZpZCUzRHd3XzFjNzcyZDA5NGI1NmMlMjIlM0UlM0MlMkZzY3JpcHQlM0U=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][az_single_image image=”14784″ image_mode=”img-full-responsive” image_alignment=”aligncenter” animation_loading=”yes” animation_loading_effects=”scale_up”][az_blank_divider height_value=”10″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][az_single_image image=”14786″ image_mode=”img-full-responsive” image_alignment=”aligncenter” animation_loading=”yes” animation_loading_effects=”scale_up”][az_blank_divider height_value=”10″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][az_single_image image=”14809″ image_mode=”img-full-responsive” image_alignment=”aligncenter” animation_loading=”yes” animation_loading_effects=”scale_up”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row padding=”small-padding”][vc_column][az_column_text]
Fantastic prices, fewer people, many things to do…. what do you want more? Oh yes, you certainly would like to swim. On most days, it is possible to jump into the sea at our house beach, Nai Harn. If the red flags are up, it is of course most important to stay in a resort with a great swimming pool. Our pool is simply beautiful, filled with salt-water treated fresh water, clean and sparkling and gentle to the skin. It’s a fantastic replacement during days with a rough sea, in fact some of our guests never leave it.[/az_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][az_single_image image=”14801″ image_mode=”img-full-responsive” image_alignment=”aligncenter” animation_loading=”yes” animation_loading_effects=”scale_up”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][az_column_text]Many people think it rains every day during the rainy season, but it doesn’t and when it does, it often rains for a short time.

However, there are always one or two weeks per year, which are different. These weeks come by 3 to 5 days of more or less non-stop rains. No one can say when those weeks will occur, but they will happen! It’s just a matter of luck. Whatever we tell you, whatever anyone tells you, it can be sunny during the rainy season and rain heavily during dry season.

Both seasons are incredibly good to come to Phuket, having their ups and downsides.

Graphics: Locals enjoy the relatively mild temperatures from May to December.
